   Welcome to the Events page of Yahweh's Assembly in Messiah. This is the best place to go within our site to learn of what is going on within our Assembly. You will find links to past events to read about the occasion and view some pictures of those special times. You can also learn below more about our services - when and how generally conducted. Please feel free to browse around and, should you desire more information, do not hesitate to contact us. If there is information you would like to see added to the Events, also let us know.

Weekly Sabbath Services

   Services are held every Sabbath (Saturday) commencing at 1:00 PM. They are conducted in the Tabernacle located in the midst of our campground. We generally begin by having songs and welcoming, followed by a Sermonette, Announcements, Special Offerings to Yahweh (primarily Songs of Praise), Sermon, and a Blessing Upon the Assembly. Services generally conclude around 3:00-3:30 PM and are followed by a Fellowship Meal in our Dining Hall. 2010 PASSOVER

   It is hard to believe that the Feast of Unleavened Bread is coming upon us and we pray all are looking forward to the commencement of Yahweh’s new year, preparing for these very special days. At this writing, we have a little over eight weeks to prepare for Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread (March 30 through April 6, 2010). Are you getting ready? One way is to start using up all the food products that contain leavening. Here is a useful list of ingredients to check:

Yeast;
Baker’s ammonia;
Baking powder
Baking soda;
Bicarbonate of ammonia;
Cream of tartar;
Disodium diphosphate;
Hjorthornssalt and hirschhornsalz;
Iodized sea salt (only iodized)
Lievito di vaniglia (Italian markets);
Monocalcium phosphate monohydrate;
Pottasch (German markets);
Potassium bicarbonate;
Sodium aluminum phosphate acidic;
Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda).

   The following ingredients, although they sound like leavening agents, are flavor enhancers and would be all right to eat during the Feast:

Autolized yeast;
Brewer’s yeast;
Calcium carbonate; and
Yeast extract.

   While you are cleaning out your refrigerators, freezers and cupboards in preparation for this very special time, remember that the “leaven” represents “sin” and “false doctrines” and we should all be cleaning out “our hearts and minds,” as well as our homes. Galatians 5:9 states, A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.

   We follow Yahweh’s calendar, not man’s. We know there are times when His calendar is not what we anticipate and, therefore, changes are made as we learn of them. However, based upon our calendar at this writing, the days and times are as follows:

   The entire week of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is a very special time and we look forward to many staying with us the entire week. We will be having events planned EVERY DAY, including Bible Studies, children’s activities and fellowship meals.
