ABOUT US "If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14 A Few Words About YAIM We are a group of Bible believers who believe both the Old and New Testaments. Our goal is to follow the teachings of Scripture and pattern our lives accordingly. Perhaps the biggest difference between us and the majority of churches is that we keep the seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday) and call upon the Creator by His revealed, personal name, Yahweh, and His Son by His given name, Yahshua. Most pastors and scholars will acknowledge that the correct name of the Heavenly Father is Yahweh. The short form of His name, Yah, can be seen in the word "halleluyah" and in some Biblical names like ZachariYah, IsaiYah,JeremiYah, ZephaniYah, and NehemiYah. The popular "Jehovah" is a Latin--Greek hybrid man-made word and never was His name. There never was a J or J sound in the Hebrew or any Semitic language from which we got the Bible. There are also articles on the names on the Literature page.) The King James Version is our preferred translation of Scriptures, but other translations are also used in our study and worship. Singing, preaching and Bible studies characterize our worship services. The Songs we love to sing are taken from the Psalms and set to music such as "As the Deer Panteth" (Ps. 42:1), "I Love the Sabbath Day", and "How I Praise You." Those in our fellowship have come from various denominations. They had questions about the Bible and its teachings that were not answered by those in their former affiliation who may have been unable to harmonize Scriptures. They began earnestly searching the Bible for answers and for deeper truths. We have found that much modern-day belief and teaching has deviated from the original truth of Scripture. So we make every effort to root out error and return to pure worship. We believe in obedience to the commandments set down by the Heavenly Father. When necessary, we refer to the original languages of the Bible and take nothing for granted until it has been proven from Scripture. As a group, we are committed to "study to show ourselves approved" (2 Timothy 2:15), and to "prove all things; hold fast to that which is good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21). We gather weekly for services at our tabernacle, centrally located in Rocheport, Missouri. Worship services are also held in various parts of the country and around the world. We publish a Bible-based, bi-monthly magazine, The Master Key, which explains the deeper truths of the Bible. For members and supporters of this ministry, we also produce a bi-monthly newsletter called Beginning Anew, which provides news of the brethren, updates on the ministry and on our progress in proclaiming the Good News of the coming Kingdom. In addition, we publish a number of scriptural booklets and tracts on various topics. A Bible correspondence course is available, which allows the student to study His own Bible and see for himself what Scripture teaches.  Donations for tapes, DVDs and literature are gratefully appreciated. We also have congregations in the Caribbean, and in the Philippines. Our mailing list includes Mexico, Jamaica, Burma, New Zealand, Australia, Tahiti, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India, Pakistan, England, Germany, France, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, and Singapore. Most people know there is something wrong with this present world. Our society is not what it was intended to be. Many are not following Biblical directives in their lives. We are here to support those who are committed to living their own lives according to Yahweh's ways.
