The Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs is an excerpt from the Ante-Nicene Fathers, translations of The Writings of the Fathers Down to A.D. 325. Here is a direct quote from the introduction: "In these they give some account of their lives (the dying patriarchs, the sons of Jacob), embodying particulars not found in the scriptural account, and build thereupon various moral precepts for the guidance of their descendants. The book partakes also of the nature of an Apocalypse..."
Our Heavenly Father's Name, Yahweh, has been restored in these pages wherever "Lord" appears and the more proper Hebrew Elohim and Messiah were restored wherever "God" and "Christ" respectively appear. Superstitious scribes and misguided Bible translators took away these true names and substituted the titles God, Lord and Adonai. The sacred Name is easily proved in good encyclopedias and dictionaries under the heading "Yahweh," "Jehovah," "god," or "Tetragrammaton."
You can request our free booklets, The Heavenly Father's Great Name and/or The Missing J, which prove the Names conclusively from secular and religious authorities, as well as from Scripture. You can contact us here to request the booklet(s), or you can read them online from the Literature link on the Home page. We hope you will be blessed by this publication.
