     We, at Yahweh’s Assembly in Messiah, will do whatever we can to help the sincere seeker of truth. That being said, many times there are worldly resources which can still benefit all of us in learning the who, what and where of things the world does. We do not profess to believe all the doctrines of groups listed on this page and merely add them for your aid in studying. If there is anything you feel we should know, kindly e-mail us.

     This is a list of resources that are helpful aids in our search for the truth and for understanding the times in which we are living. One can never have enough resources, so if you have a favorite that is not listed here, please share by contacting us with the information.

 Bibles

  The Scriptures 1998  from The Institute for Scripture Research South Africa. This is a literal translation of the Bible in English. This translation differs significantly from most common English translations in that it has restored the original book order of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Tanakh, and restored the Name of the Most High, YHWH / throughout.  

The Word of Yahweh, published by the Assembly of Yahweh, second edition. The prime objective in producing this new edition of the Scriptures was a desire to accurately represent the most sacred names of our Heavenly Father and His Son. It has been the tradition of most translators to substitute more common, familiar terms, such as "lord" and "god," in place of the very names sanctioned by Yahweh Himself. We believe this is a grave injustice. Not only does this substitution steal from the richness and fullness of the original languages, but probably directly breaks the third commandment we read in Exodus 20:7.

The Companion Bible, (Notes and appendices by E. W. Bullinger) A classic one-volume study Bible in the King James Version. Helps include 198 appendices, including explanations of Hebrew words and their uses; charts; parallel passages; maps; lists of proper names; calendars; and timelines.

The Complete Jewish Bible Why is this Bible different from all other Bibles? It is the only English version fully Jewish in style and presentation. It includes Dr. Stern's new version of the "Tanakh" ("Old Testament") and his highly acclaimed "Jewish New Testament." 

Zikarown Say'fer Zikarown Say'fer, memorial book as in Exodus 17:14, is a version of the Scriptures meant to bring out the ancient language intricacies that have been lost in modern translations. Zikarown is the transliteration of the Hebrew word for memorial or rehearsal. The Scriptures are meant to be rehearsed as instruction for the path to eternal life. Yahweh and Yahshua's names are restored to the text through the Bora Paleo Hebrew font.

Restoration Study Bible Based on the Old and New Testaments of the King James Version this bible has Strong's numbers throughout, Old Testament quotations in the New Testament, charts and maps, cross references, word definitions, study notes and character profiles. The Sacred Names of Yahweh and Yahshua have been restored throughout the text.

Bible Software

Something new: We have put together a Bible Study Guide for folks new to scripture studies. It is in e-Sword format but you must have Version 9 or above (we would suggest you upgrade to the latest version regardless). BibleGateway.com The Bible Gateway is a tool for reading and researching scripture online -- all in the language or translation of your choice! It provides advanced searching capabilities, which allow readers to find and compare particular passages in Scripture based on keywords, phrases, or Scripture reference.

BibleKeeper.com BibleKeeper.com is a free online Bible study resource for anyone who is interested in reading and researching the Scriptures on the internet. They offer the Bible in 28 different languages, as well as a variety of versions. You can use the tools on this website to search the Bible for specific words or verses.

Research

Bibletools.org  BibleTools.org is dedicated to assisting individuals with their personal Bible study through providing reputable Bible resources and study tools.

BibleStudyTools.com  Their online library includes well-known and trusted commentaries, including the popular Matthew Henry Commentary, concordances like Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and Naves Topical Concordance, Bible dictionaries, Biblical encyclopedias and historical Christian and church books, including Fox's Book of Martyrs. Their Bible reading plans allow you to chart your progress through  a 365-daily reading schedule. The Parallel Bible will supplement your study of Yahweh's Word as you seek to understand the different translations and interpret the original language. In addition, Bible verses by topic help you find encouragement, guidance and help for any situation or need.

Encyclopedia Judaica (online) Published originally in 1971. Encyclopedia Judaica has been the leading source for information on the Jewish people, the Jewish faith, and the state of Israel. The Second Edition continues the tradition of the Encyclopedia as the best source of coverage of how the Jewish people have influenced history and shaped the modern world.

Catholic Encyclopedia (online) The 1914 Catholic Encyclopedia is the most comprehensive resource on Catholic teaching, history, and information ever gathered in all of human history. This easy-to-search online version was originally printed in 15 hardcopy volumes. Science, literature, history, doctrine, saints, government, art and much more are contained within the 11,000+ entries on this website.

The Two Babylons (online) by Alexander Hislop. Discover how a religion, started by Nimrod and his wife, Semiramus, in Babel, spread throughout various regions of the world, and took on different names under different pagan religions, while keeping the same pagan rituals and trappings.

Fossilized Customs (.pdf) by Lew White. An eye-opening book exposing the pagan origins of many popular customs.

Abibofgod.com This is a really well studied group that goes to Israel every year and looks for the Abib barley. They have lots of really good information about what to look for.

Sunrise and Sunset times for any US city  You can obtain the times of sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset, transits of the Sun and Moon, and the beginning and end of civil twilight, along with information on the Moon's phase, by specifying the date and location in the form (that is on the website) and clicking on the "Get data" button at the end of the form.

New Moon Visibility Map The following diagrams show the visibility of the new crescent Moon over the first three days of the lunation. The unshaded areas indicate regions from which the Moon cannot be seen. The Moon becomes more easily visible from the regions of increasing colour intensity i.e. the Moon will be seen easily from the regions shown in red. The near vertical blue lines show the age of the Moon at the so-called "best time" of observation.
